It is definitely puppy season at Top Notch Paws! We have tiny newborn Cavapoos, a bunch of Goldendoodles, and some adorable Bernedoodles keeping us very busy right now.
It is definitely puppy season around here right now, and we are loving every minute of it.
We have a LOT of puppies at Top Notch Paws at the moment. We have several little Cavapoos who are only about a week old, along with a bunch of Goldendoodles and some absolutely adorable Bernedoodles. Basically, everywhere you look around here lately, there is another pile of puppies.
The newest Cavapoos are still in that tiny newborn stage where most of their day consists of eating, sleeping, growing, and piling on top of each other. They change incredibly fast at this age. Right now they are tiny little potatoes, but over the next few weeks their eyes will open, they will start moving around more, and before we know it their individual personalities will start showing.
That is one of our favorite parts of raising puppies. At first you have a whole litter of tiny babies who seem pretty similar. Then suddenly one is always trying to climb over everybody, another wants to sleep upside down, one figures out how to get your attention first, and another is perfectly content to sit back and watch the chaos.
And there is definitely plenty of chaos coming, because the Cavapoos aren't the only puppies keeping us busy!
We also have a bunch of Goldendoodles right now. Goldendoodle puppies are always fun because they tend to turn into these fluffy, goofy little characters as they grow. Watching an entire litter reach the age where they want to explore everything at once is equal parts adorable and ridiculous.
Then we have our Bernedoodles adding even more fluff to the mix. Between the Bernedoodles, Goldendoodles, and all of these little Cavapoos, we have a pretty amazing variety of puppies growing up here right now.
It is busy. Very busy.
There is always something that needs to be cleaned, someone who needs to be fed, puppies to check on, weights to watch, pictures to take, and about 400 other little things happening behind the scenes.
But this is also the fun part.
We get to watch these puppies go from tiny newborns completely dependent on mom into curious little dogs with their own personalities. Over the coming weeks they will start exploring, playing with their littermates, interacting more with us, experiencing new things, and gradually becoming the puppies their future families will eventually bring home.
And yes, we take way too many pictures along the way.
If you have been thinking about adding a puppy to your family, this is definitely a fun time to keep an eye on Top Notch Paws. We have Cavapoos, Goldendoodles, and Bernedoodles growing up right now, and there are going to be a whole lot of ridiculously cute puppy updates coming.
For now, we are enjoying the newborn snuggles, the puppy piles, the tiny noises, and the brief period before some of these little guys discover that they have legs and decide to use them for complete and total chaos.
We wouldn't have it any other way.
