How we raise puppies
Raised at our family homes, handled early, and cared for carefully until they are ready to go home with you.
We have been doing this for a long time, and we have learned a lot along the way. There is not one magic thing that makes a great puppy. It is the breeding, health, environment, handling, socialization, grooming, veterinary care, and many small details between the day they are born and the day they leave here.
Born here
Our puppies are born at our family homes in Western Massachusetts. They start life in a familiar home environment with people nearby.
Handled and socialized
From early on, puppies are handled and introduced to everyday household sounds and routines. Socialization is intentional so they are better prepared for life with their new family.
Grooming and handling
Coat care and gentle handling start while puppies are still with us. Getting used to being brushed and touched helps them after pickup, and it also reflects the grooming work we do year-round.
Health care
Puppies receive veterinary care appropriate to their age, including vaccinations and records. Parent dogs are health-tested before breeding. Meeting families
We welcome visits by appointment. You can meet puppies, see where they live, and ask questions. You do not have to choose a puppy from photos alone if you would rather come in person.
Going home
When a puppy is ready, families leave with health records and guidance for the transition home. We stay available after pickup because our relationship does not end when you walk out the door.
